What is Smarts?

Smarts is a community-centric and governance system with a novel and open approach to DeFi Services and Products. Holders of SMAT dictates all platform integrations and directions. The core of the system offering revolves around a truly decentralized and secured network.

Vision

Decentralized finance on the blockchain is a very interesting concept with many positives. However, decentralization has also given room for ill minded players and projects to exploit some of its downsides by gaming the need to trust certain usage and operations. Having gone through a series of good and bad crypto investment experiences ourselves. 

We want to improve on the bad sides by creating a system that eradicates the need to trust. DeFi early phase also means there are many areas to improve product offerings, with this, we conclude to work around existing products but with different operating dynamics for the sole purpose of contributing to the DeFi growth and make a positive impact.

SMAT Token

The Smarts ecosystem, governance, value creation, and reward distribution will be overseen with the use of the platform SMAT governance token. SMAT is an ERC-20 standard token initiated and built on the Ethereum network. It is the basis of value transfer and generation. SMAT is a tradable token and will be available for trade on decentralized and centralized exchanges.
